Swachhta Hi Seva (SHS) campaign-2024 is a nationwide initiative launched by the Government of India. The campaign aims to promote cleanliness and hygiene across the country with the theme of ‘Swabhav Swachhata - Sanskaar Swachhata’. In obligingness of the initiative, on October 1,2024, SGTBIMIT hosted a Safaimitra Health Camp to provide essential health checkups and awareness for sanitation workers (Safaimitras). The event was organized to recognize the hard work of Safaimitras and ensure their well-being. The camp included free medical checkups such as blood pressure, sugar levels, vision tests, and consultations with doctors. Students actively volunteered to assist the healthcare professionals and support the Safaimitras during the event. The camp was a meaningful initiative to promote the health and dignity of sanitation workers. Worthy Director ma’am Prof. (Dr.) Navneet Kaur and Assistant Director Sir, Mr. Virender Singh motivated the sanitation workers and emphasized the importance of their role in maintaining cleanliness in the community.
