Annual Day Celebrations 2022

Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Management and IT, Nanak Piao, affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, under the aegis of DSGMC, celebrated its Annual Day function on July 21, 2022. The programme commenced with the recitation of Shabad as a tribute to Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji.

We are thankful to our Honourable Chairman, S. M.P.S Chadha Ji and revered Co-Chairman, S. Jasbir Singh Jassi Ji, for always encouraging and motivating our students for the innovative ideas and thoughts to promote their hidden talents. We are grateful to S. Harmeet Singh Kalka Ji for his never-ending support and guidance directing the progress of the Institute towards scaling new heights. We are also thankful to revered S. Jagdip Singh Kahlon Ji, General Secretary, DSGMC to bring all round development with hallmark of quality and excellence.

We are grateful to S. Harvinder Singh (K.P.) Ji, Senior Vice President (DSGMC) and S. Atma Singh Lubana Ji, Vice President (DSGMC) for their benign presence as Chief Guests of the event. S. Jagtaran Singh Ji, Vice President of World Punjabi Organization was the Guest of Honour. Special Guests for the event were S. Surjeet Singh Ji, Manager of Guru Nanak College of Education, Sdn. Vindri Ji, the Spiritual Speaker, S. Darshan Singh Suri Ji and other eminent personalities. We are thankful to S. Tirlochan Singh Ji, Vice-Chairman, SGTBIMIT for his precious time.

The event was chaired by Prof. (Dr.) Navneet Kaur, Director, SGTBIMIT, a dynamic personality who enlightened the august gathering regarding the progress and continuous efforts for the all-round development of our students and Institute and presented the Annual Report. She focused on lateral learning system where in every student is encouraged to enhance their academic qualifications along with the development of qualities like teamwork, adaptability, leadership skills, confidence, determination, respect, and moral value.

It’s a matter of pride that our Institute is eminent for its excellent academic and extra-curricular standards. The Institute is committed to educate, enrich and excel in imparting top quality professional education. The devoted teaching community of this college is the greatest asset, who endeavour to mentor the students while striving continuously to improve through team work, innovation and research.

The event started with the most awaited program of prize distribution for the outstanding student performers throughout the year. Felicitation and distribution of certificates was done in due acknowledgement to the students for their exemplary performance in different academic pursuits and co-curricular activities. The Alumni of the Institute who are successful in their respective fields were also appreciated.

Next was the moment of excitement for all the students and staff when our students performed cultural programmes of songs, music and dance which exhibited their hidden talent. The Bhangra Performance by the students was the highlight of the event.

The date and time will pass away but the memories of all the beautiful performances of today will stay fresh in everyone’s mind. It was a very successful event and the day was concluded by Vote of Thanks given by S. Verender Singh, Assistant Director, SGTBIMIT. He thanked the Organizing Committee, HOD’s, Faculty and staff members of the Institute for best of their efforts in making the event memorable.
