In alignment with the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister of India on ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ Campaign, SGTBIMIT organized a plantation drive on September 17th 2024, with the active participation of students, faculty, and staff. The event aimed to promote environmental sustainability by increasing greenery around the campus. A total of 100 saplings, including native species like Neem, Banyan, and Gulmohar, were planted.
The event was conducted to highlight the importance of trees in combating pollution and climate change.Students eagerly took part, pledging to take care of the saplings and ensure their growth.
The plantation drive not only beautified the college premises but also instilled a sense of environmental responsibility in the participants. The event was a resounding success and set a precedent for more such green initiatives in the future.
