The Training and Placement Cell at SGTBIMIT envisions creating a strong bridge between academic learning and the professional world. Our aim is to prepare students not only for successful placements but also for meaningful careers by nurturing their skills, confidence, professionalism, and industry readiness.

The Training and Placement Cell serves as a vital link between students and the corporate world. We work towards creating meaningful opportunities for students while equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence required to excel in today’s competitive professional environment.

Through continuous training, industry interactions, career guidance, and placement initiatives, the Cell strives to ensure that every student is prepared to take the next step towards a successful career.

The Training and Placement Cell conducts a wide range of activities designed to enhance students’ employability and connect them with prospective employers:

• Job Fairs: Organising job fairs that bring together students and multiple recruiters on a common platform, providing diverse career opportunities across industries.
• Seminars and Webinars: Conducting expert-led sessions to provide students with insights into industry trends, career opportunities, emerging skills, and professional expectations.
• Workshops: Organising skill-oriented workshops focused on areas such as communication, aptitude, technical competencies, personality development, and workplace readiness.
• Mock Interviews: Providing students with realistic interview experiences to help them improve their communication, confidence, presentation, and interview-handling skills.
• Group Discussions: Conducting structured group discussions to develop students’ communication, critical thinking, leadership, teamwork, and ability to articulate ideas effectively.
• Internship Drives: Facilitating internship opportunities that enable students to gain practical exposure, understand workplace dynamics, and apply classroom knowledge in real-world settings.
• Placement Drives: Coordinating campus recruitment drives and connecting students with reputed organisations, helping them explore and secure suitable career opportunities.
